Coding the Coal Region addresses the immediate workforce need of computer programmers in NEPA. To meet this demand, we offer training courses that align with local employer needs to increase job placement opportunities.
OUR GOAL
The application process for the Post-Grad component of Coding the Coal Region is open to any resident in Luzerne County with a minimum high school diploma (additional education and/or experience preferred) and the desire to advance their career.
ELIGIBILITY
The Post-Grad component of the Coding the Coal Region pilot features a hybrid of online and in-person courses created by industry leaders, that align with local employer needs. Upon completing the course, participants will receive certifications.
